6th report of the Dutch National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings (2008)



In 2006, 579 victims were newly registered victims of human trafficking in the Netherlands, from which 30 (5.18%) were men and 549 (94,81%) women. 67% were exploited in prostitution, 6% in and outside prostitution. The sixth report of the Dutch National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings is devoted mainly to statistics covering the period up to and including 2006: data about age, gender and origin of the victims of Human Trafficking, data of suspects and perpetrators, case law and prosecutions.
