News from Sweden: ‘Komtilloss’ Campaign

On the 16th of September 2009 the Swedish Police launched the ’Komtilloss’ campaign on men’s violence against women. The campaign hopes to raise awareness of this problem and to increase the number of women reporting male violence, which they hope will lead to an increase in the number of men prosecuted for this crime. The campaign, which will run until the end of the year, includes posters placed on the internet, in the press, on transport and in other public places like doctor’s offices, as well as local information work and a dedicated website.

Please find below the posters and the general information document on the campaign.
